The mission of Treasury Operations is to provide and maintain exceptional treasury services for the University of Iowa. This includes managing banking, cash management, bond debt, investments and overseeing the university's operating funds and endowments.
The preferred method of receiving funds from third parties is via electronic receipt. Third parties paying the University of Iowa can send electronic payment via ACH (aka EFT) or Wire Transfer.
Debt Management
The Treasurer serves as trustee, registrar and paying agent for bonds issued by the University of Iowa. Treasury staff are responsible for execution of external debt service payments and investing of bond proceed reserves.
