Banking & Investments

Treasury Operations is responsible for general investment management activities, including execution of cash and investment transactions and maintaining relationships with banking partners and investment fund managers.

 

Treasury Operations performs the following investment services for the University of Iowa:

  • Monitors the performance of externally managed investment pools:
    • Long Term Pool (includes endowment funds)
    • Intermediate Term Pool
    • Operating Pool
  • Assures compliance with Iowa Code, Board of Regents, State of Iowa Investment Policy, University bond indentures, University policies and generally accepted accounting policies
  • Direct responsibility for investment of restricted and unrestricted operating funds
  • Administration of all endowment and quasi endowment funds in the long term and intermediate investment pools

Fundriver Balance Endowment Reporting

Investment reporting for departmental endowment and quasi-endowment funds invested in the University of Iowa's Long and Intermediate Term Pools.
